  • Notes
    • Andrée Texeira is indeed Andrée de Rozario since her daughter was born Marguerite Texeira daughter of Domingue Teixeira and Andrée de Rozario according to the statement of marriage certificate found in volume 1, page 121 of the summary of the acts of the civil status of Pondicherry 1676/1735, (published in 1917 from the original acts of the town hall of Pondicherry). Work which is in the National Library of France. Marguerite was born in Daman, then a Portuguese counter, located in Goa, a state in southwestern India; she will most likely arrive in Bourbon with her mother around 1678 aboard the Rossignol among a contingent of 14 so-called Portuguese or mixed-race women from Indies.
Andrée will marry, around 1679, Jacques Maillot dit La Brière (Ricquebourg p.1777). They had 3 boys.
