  Death of Richard Drayton Cheese 1845 - 1889: His body was found at 154 Pitt Street, Sydney, New South Wales at 11.15pm on July 27, 1889. It was transported to South Sydney Morgue. On examination at 12.20am on July 28 there were found to be no signs of violence and just a couple of small abrasions on his face. The body was identified by his wife Ada Ann Cheese. Report says he was 44 years old and a Butcher by trade. Inquest on July 29 found that death was due to natural causes, being a burst aneurysm in the region of the brain.
